My First Accident
As the title indicates, finally as a beginner in driving I meet my dreaded enemy. As any beginner accident seems to be a complete nightmare especially it involves police. Main reason your license maybe be in danger. In my case nothing that scary happened. But I am still extremely sorry to my mother and her car. I manage to make two big dents on her car. One of them, the paint was scrapped off. It looks like the picture below.
How does it happen?
I drove my mom to work today. I drive in the basement. Being a complete beginner with basement, I cannot estimate well on how much I should turn in. I am glad my mother was beside me to help. Her advice was very helpful. Managed to turn in, I didn’t notice that I steer too much and forget to correct the position of the tire. The car moving all the way left into the wall. Before reaching the wall, my mom told me to stop. Being totally nervous I step on the wrong pedal. I was extremely sorry mom. I end up banging the wall. So my mom asked me to reverse the car. After getting away from the wall, I can see my mom unhappy face. My mom asked me to get down while she drove and parked the car. But I am so grateful that she didn’t scold me or anything. She just said glad that nothing happen to the people in the car, only the car needed so money to fix. I am super thankful that she said those words. It was the most comforting and assuring words that I can hope for.
In the end?
There goes my allowance to fix the car. Well one should bear one’s responsibility. I am glad that everyone received the news well. They kept telling me yeah you learn through mistake. I am very thankful for those around me that support me!!! Love you all…
Anyway I haven’t tell my daddy. I hope that he would scold me badly.
